this is my last post but my first time actually declaring the end of a blog.

i shouldn't be posting here any longer. my new site would be MESSED.

honestly i apologize to anyone out there (if there IS any to begin with, lol) who comes to this place time and again to check for updates. i had totally forgotten i had this blog that was even updated on October last year! ugh...

anyway, i've given up quite a number things already, and my new blog would probably be different from this one. the reason this blog is up is because i want to leave something behind, something for my 5 year future self to read, for him to reflect, for him to laugh and my immature sillies and foolishs and to see if he has in fact matured...(:

omg. i just remembered this blog exists! heee oops! well it 2 months past, and i'm still managing in camp...somehow or rather yeap. hmmmm...

well, while consuming supper with a close fren of mine at kfc, i pondered about the 19 years of my life. i have never done anything. zero. there's this altruistic part of me struck me, and i felt really guilty. why is it that 19 years have past, but i have not contributed to the society? why is that that so many years have past, but i am still useless in this world? not a lot (if any) truly benefited from my existence. nothing's changed. Next, the narcissistic side of me arose, giving me another guilty pang. WHY why i am still here? why i still not successful in life? isn't 19 years more than enough? have i been wasting too much time? why am i not up there yet? the road's seems a long way, but 19 years was definitely a possible goal to reach? why didnt i make it?

those thoughts just killed my mood for the night. i didnt even know what induced to thoughts, but it just crushed me and left me struggling to find myself...

Was at excelsior yesterday for lunch. i must say, they are GOOD. the hotel is packed between funan IT mall and peninsular shopping centre (not plaza fyi, and wow, the clothes in the basement are quite cheap!). i don't even know how it managed to squeeze into that small area, but it did. the entrance was really small, everyone would probably missed it as it only leads to 2 elevators. surprise surprise!

the main lobby is at level 4 (wow). didnt go there, went to level 5 instead, there's cafe over there and went there for a buffet. well, tbh, the first time i entered the what-looked-like-to-me so dilapitated-but-saved-by-the-atas-ness hotel wasnt a great one. but the moment i stepped into the cafe, everything was there! you could feel the ambience entering you like a breeze of fresh wind. everything was... bleh, it just felt like any other super classy restaurant when you enter them. the food looked quite decent, furniture well-picked, lightings were not-bad, and everything looked neat..yeap!

as i watched iron man 2 (YUP! I WATCHED IT TODAY! TOO BAD FOR YOU GUYS! XD), i realise how i yearn to lead a double life. This life i'm having is too normal, I WANT A SUPER LIFE. i don't mean being superman or those childhood superheroes, just another life which deviates from this world, where we just work and work and work. maybe being an artiste or entertainer would be good. you can do anything or BE ANYONE.

well, i've got an acceptance letter from ntu for bioengineering. it sounds quite kool, rouses my curiosity but seriously it feels like a freaking no-life course, and my future career dont look that... , if i were to pursue that path. it will just be...quite boring.

maybe i need it with my super life. HAHAHAA. i think i really do...

and so i went back to school again!!!!!!

i felt so happy to be back!

i saw those familiar faces whose names still remain unknown.

i saw much more unfamiliar faces. doing pw. xD boy, those days were unforgettable.

haha guess who's the guest of honour! pck's magaret! so in the there were like 3 local celebrities walking around when we had light refreshments. yea, the yihee's parents were there too.

...i think the guy who presented me the award didnt like me. he said with a smile, "bow your head."

talked to a couple of teachers. some im close to, and a few others who just know my existence hahaha

while i was talking to one he was even saying, "yea, they make you sound like you had a lot of hardships and did so much for the school."

somehow honestly, i felt that was somewhat true. i really don't think i deserve the award. BUT HOW I CAN REJECT IT!

talked to a few uncles around. yup, talk about standard stuffs, like the life in camp and grades and uni admissions.

later i came to hear about the dance concert they were holding that night. i was thinking since i have nothing better to do, might as well go lor. i tried calling up a few of my pass-out-fsv ppl, but none of them were available. it had led me to a dilemma esp when im going alone as a j3.

then i receive the sms "you should go. how often do you get a chance to go back?"

which was super true.

at half-hour before the concert start, i decided to leave my house, to see all those the unfamiliar faces again.

the dance concert wasn't that up to the standard compared to what i've seen from the previous 2 years lah. there's some moves that were not really sync that well lah. that was when i realise how important sync is when dancing in groups - it leaves the audience with a bigger impact. however, i can kind of understand that, since they had only ONE other rehearsal on stage before the actual thing.

after the concert was over, i crashed my juniors' supper at toa payoh. i wasnt chatty coz i couldnt find a topic to discuss about (seriously, the camp leeches out my life) so i stayed basically alone tagging around listening to all of them talking about random issues and gossips yeap, but my cca juniors somehow looked quite united somehow. how relieved and glad i was...omg how come i sound so old----- BUT ANYWAYS it was all interesting to listen those unknown names pouring out, with the things they did and everything else.

I did not regret going for the concert nor the dinner!(: Thanks all - jy, sheryl, celestia, dom, ivan, darren, unknown gal 1, unknown gal 2, unknown guy 1!

okay, and so i have less than 7 minutes...

time flies... as i was on the bus travelling past the drive-thru macs, all the memories kicked in. the times i was at macs studying with ks for A's. i could clearly remember i was studying maths and bio then. sigh. such busy, and heck, carefree life. i miss those times, really really much. i dont mind studying in my jc again. i was given the chance though, due to my grades haha, but i've decided i shouldn't waste my time.. anyways, i'll have to do NS for 2 years, and it'll just be a matter of time, that's all.
